Model R grinding machines are tangential rotary table grinding machines that are used where micro-metric precision machining of parts such as flanges, spacers, rings, circular blades etc is required.

The rotary table model can be equipped with precision bearings or hydrostatic support in which case the hydraulic unit is placed outside the machine to prevent it from transmitting heat to the structure and to facilitate maintenance.
